More than 50 people volunteer for us each year.  Join us!

We have two main events each year: a Golf Outing in May and a 5K in October.  We have many small benefits throughout the year that assist local families fighting cancer.

mission & vision

No need is too small and no voice is too quiet to be heard. We will devote the time and energy necessary to educate, raise awareness, and lend a helping hand.

Leslie & Jon Fritinger
Part of our team since 2010. Dedicated to fighting for families that are going through treatment.

Jeff & Francesca Brynski
Part of our team since 2010. Both are actively involved in all events and huge supporters of the community.

2001 - A group of women began raising money for Susan G. Komen and Avon Foundations when all three O'Donnell sisters were diagnosed with breast cancer within a few years of each other.  We decided we were going to do whatever we could to not let this devastating disease take the women around us.

2013 - Fight for the Girls, Inc. is established by Mary Mathewson and Lisa Klus. Over $120,000 raised to date. We began as a non-profit to raise money for breast cancer research.

2016 - Fight for the Girls, Inc. broadens their mission to fight on behalf of all women who are fighting cancer in some way-- mothers, sisters, grandmothers, and so on. We hope to raise even more money in 2016 for local families in the Cincinnati and D.C. areas.

2018- Ownership of the charity was given to longtime volunteers, Shane Davis and Jeff Brynski.
